Artgaze Film Club brings you the Pop Up Screen! 

As well as our regular home at Full Throttle Theatre, Artgaze brings you cult movies in different cool locations! This October we are in the Perfume Gardens, outdoors located next door to Full Throttle at the old courthouse cnr Sturt and Stokes street, Townsville CBD. Check in at the Old Courthouse Theatre entrance, enjoy a drink at the bar, and be guided to our lovely outdoor screening area to be mesmerised by two great cult films.

October Friday 25th join us for a Halloween inspired double feature with raffle and door prizes 

Bar opens 6.30 pm. There will be a short interval between films.

7 pm The Bride of Frankenstein (1935) 80 mins. Mary Shelley reveals the main characters of her novel survived: Dr. Frankenstein (goaded by an even madder scientist) builds his monster a mate. Directed by James Whale. Stars Elsa Lancaster. courtesy United National Pictures.

9.20 pm Eraserhead (1977) 85 mins. Courtesy Umbrella entertainment. This surrealist body horror film was written and directed by David Lynch and is Lynch’s first feature-length film; Henry Spencer tries to survive his industrial environment, his angry girlfriend, and the unbearable screams of his newly born mutant child.
