“An illusion to take photos in the White House”

The United States Secret Service is contemplating measures to increase security around the White House, after a man broke into the presidential mansion on Friday and reached the door of it.

Among the proposals are to prevent people from walking on the sidewalks that adjoin the fence, search more bags at random and expand the security perimeter, which could scare away tourists who want his iconic photograph in front of the White House.

BBC Mundo correspondent in Washington, Thomas Sparrow, toured the perimeter of the White House and asked Latin American tourists what they think of the security measures in the presidential mansion.
