At least one person was killed in an attack on a Shiite mosque in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi.
Police said the temple was burned by protesters protesting after a shooting that killed a leader of one of the country’s most radical Sunni groups, Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat.
The leader, Mufti Amanullah, was shot dead by motorcycle gunmen.
His funeral will be held this Monday, under tight security measures.
Sectarian violence is growing in Pakistan, often targeting prominent Sunni and Shiite leaders.
